Who we are

This website, lenza.care, is operated by LenZA Healthcare Solutions (“LenZA”, “we”, “us”). For privacy questions or to exercise the rights described below, contact us by email at info@lenza.care.

How LenZA works with institutions and programmes

LenZA licenses its clinical workflow software to health facilities, implementing organisations and government or donor-funded programmes ("institutional customers") across the countries where it operates. Each institutional customer configures and runs its own pilot or deployment, using its own professional staff, under its own legal entity, and is responsible for complying with the data protection, health and other laws that apply to its own programme and country. LenZA is not a party to the relationship between an institutional customer and the people that customer serves.

This notice describes only what LenZA itself collects directly through lenza.care โ€” the Request a Demo form and the HIV prevention interest registration form described below. It does not describe how an institutional customer's own deployment of the LenZA app handles patient or programme data; that is governed by that customer's own policies and its agreement with LenZA.

Information we collect

1. Demo requests (Request a Demo form)

When you request a demo we collect: your full name, facility or organisation, email address, country (optional) and any message you choose to include. We use this only to respond to your request and discuss LenZA with you. The form is processed by our form provider, Formspree, which delivers submissions to us by email.

2. HIV prevention interest registrations (demo)

This form is a public demonstration of LenZA's software, not a live prevention service. It shows prospective institutional customers how a registration made by an end user would flow into the LenZA app. No community worker, clinical team or programme currently monitors or acts on submissions made through this public page, and nobody will contact you based on what you submit here.

When you use the demo form we collect: your name, age (optional), sex (optional), community or area, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), your preferred contact method, whether you would like to learn about HIV prevention options, and your consent to be contacted. We also record a reference number, the date and time of registration, and that it came from the web form.

Because this relates to HIV prevention, we treat it as sensitive health-related information even though it is submitted through a demo. Because this specific web page does not currently route to a real programme, it is not shared with any community or programme team, and is not used for real prevention follow-up. Registering is not clinical enrolment and does not determine eligibility for any prevention method.

These demo registrations are stored in Google Firebase (Realtime Database) so that the data flow can be shown in the LenZA app. If you have real questions about HIV prevention, please contact a local clinic, health facility or community health worker directly.

3. Contacting us on WhatsApp

LenZA uses WhatsApp for two separate purposes, and it matters which one you're messaging:

  • General enquiries and demo requests โ€” the WhatsApp number shown in this website's footer and Request a Demo section.
  • The HIV prevention programme โ€” a separate production WhatsApp number, +91 89103 23068, used by the programme team to receive registrations and send prevention-related follow-up messages. This number is distinct from any number used for internal testing or development, which is never used to contact the public.

In both cases, the content of your messages and your phone number are processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms and privacy policy, and by us โ€” or, for the HIV prevention programme, by the responsible programme team โ€” to respond to you or deliver the service.

4. Technical information

We have not added analytics or advertising trackers to this website. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site, and web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when fonts are requested.

Legal basis

We collect and use HIV prevention interest registrations on the basis of the consent you give on the form, and we handle demo requests on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed to us. We aim to handle personal information in line with the data protection law that applies in the country where you gave it to us โ€” for example, Nigeria's Data Protection Act 2023 for registrations made in Nigeria, Eswatini's Data Protection Act 2022, South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) or the equivalent law of your country. As an India-based operator, we also aim to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. This notice does not claim certified compliance with any of these laws; if you have a question about a specific law that applies to you, contact us using the details above.

How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, using these as our standard periods:

  • Demo requests โ€” up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which we delete it unless we are still actively in discussion with you.
  • HIV prevention interest registrations โ€” up to 12 months from the date of registration. This is a public demo registration only, so no clinical or programme follow-up occurs through this page. After 12 months we delete the record or remove what identifies you.

We may keep information for longer where we are required to by law, or where it has already been included in aggregate programme reporting that does not on its own identify you.

Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal information. It is shared only with the service providers named above (Formspree, Google Firebase, Cloudflare, Google Fonts) and, for HIV prevention registrations, the programme team responsible for HIV prevention services in your area. Some of these providers may process or store data outside the country where you submitted it, as part of how their services operate globally.

Your rights, including deletion

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to be contacted, at any time. To make a request, email info@lenza.care and include the reference number shown after registration if you have it. See our Data Deletion page for more on how deletion requests are handled, including information we may need to keep.

Children

This website and the HIV prevention registration form are intended for use by people aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, please do not register directly โ€” ask a parent, guardian or another trusted adult to assist you, or contact a local health facility or community health worker directly for support. If you believe a minor has registered or submitted information to us, please contact us at info@lenza.care so we can address it.
