Data Deletion
Last updated: 28 September 2026
What this page covers
This page explains how to ask LenZA Healthcare Solutions ("LenZA", "we", "us") to delete personal information you have submitted through lenza.care — for example, through the Request a Demo form, the HIV prevention interest registration form, or a WhatsApp conversation with us. For more on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Notice.
How to request deletion
Email info@lenza.care from the email address or phone number you used, and let us know you'd like your information deleted. If you registered on the HIV prevention page, please include the reference number you were given at registration if you still have it — this helps us find your record quickly. We may ask a short follow-up question to confirm the request is genuinely yours before acting on it.
What we delete
On a valid request, we delete the personal information you provided through the form(s) or conversation in question — for example, your name, contact details, and the other information described in our Privacy Notice — from the systems where we hold it (currently Formspree for demo requests, and Google Firebase for HIV prevention registrations).
What we may not be able to delete immediately
In some cases we may need to keep limited information for a period after your request, for reasons such as:
- Programme reporting obligations already generated from your information (for example, aggregate figures reported to a health programme, which do not on their own identify you once aggregated);
- Backups or logs kept by our service providers (Formspree, Google Firebase, Cloudflare) that are deleted on their own regular schedule rather than instantly;
- Any legal, safety or operational reason we are required to retain specific information, which we will explain to you if it applies to your request.
Where any of this applies, we will tell you what we were and were not able to delete, and why.
WhatsApp conversations
If you have messaged LenZA on WhatsApp — either our general enquiries number or the HIV prevention programme's production number — your message history on WhatsApp itself is controlled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms, separately from the copy, if any, that we hold. Deleting your conversation in the WhatsApp app does not delete any record LenZA has stored; use the request process above for that.
How long a request takes
We aim to act on deletion requests promptly. We have not yet published a fixed response time for this; if that matters to you, say so in your request and we will confirm a timeframe directly with you.
